Well, I'm not sure how it happened so fast....but Chloe turned 3. So, we had a party on the 11th with the grandparents and great-grandparents (and Aunt Chelle & Tom!)
The party theme was purple, as you might be able to tell from the pictures :) She made her party hat because we couldn't find a purple one at the store. She wrote her name across the front & put a ton of stickers on all sides :)
"You make cupcakes for my birthday?" She's asked for the last month. Here are the cupcakes!
One excited girl!
Loved it.
I think this was my favorite birthday for her so far. She was so excited about each gift (even if she did move very quickly through them!) and the expressions on her face are just priceless.
Dora doll from Grandma and Grandpa S.
Play cash register...This was her favorite gift by far ~ good choice Mommom Ritter!! She's played with it all day every day since the 11th. I've bought more groceries and heard the little play scanner beep more times than I can count!
Fancy Nancy book from Aunt Chelle.
Little Sister modeled the shoes from Aunt Chelle:
Uncle Mark and Aunt JungMin, this is the face she made when she opened the Light Bright. :) :)
Bookbag from Monnor and Pap
Princess sleeping bag from Tom....um, little sister wandered in :)
and....the skateboard. It's the only thing she asked for. All the things I said I'd never do as a parent ;)
So of course we went outside & tried it out!!
Sunday was her actual birthday & we all wore purple to church in her honor.
That afternoon we went to the park for a picnic dinner & swinging.
It was a marvelous birthday weekend!! Thanks to all of you who helped her celebrate!
