Long Winter Ahead

If this keeps up every time we leave the house, it's going to be a long winter for everyone involved!!

Thanksgiving

We were at Mimi and Poppop's with Kevin's dad's WHOLE side of the family -- the first time in a while that we were all there for a holiday! It was a fun treat to have Aunt Michelle join us for the Thanksgiving Eve service (not too long of a drive to get there!) and have her see some of 'this side' of the family.  Then we settled in for the weekend. Of course, Thanksgiving day started with some parade watching.... and posing with Grandma: These two stayed busy in the kitchen, and we ate a marvelous meal!!!  After we were done eating, Cousin Matt had a marvelous idea to go around the table and share what we are thankful for.  I said I was thankful for Christian parents, Christian in-laws and family that I married into. I was also thankful for my new Bible study I joined this year. In anticipation of Black Friday shopping at midnight (Mark, JungMin, and Alison were the only brave ones) we hung out Thursday night playing games and visiting. Friday

Thankful

Thankful for pilgrims, turkey dinners, and these two little girls! :)  Happy Thanksgiving!!

Roller

It's in her genes :) (to see Chloe rolling her tongue at almost 18 months, click here )

Doodling....

Last Christmas, we got Chloe a magnadoodle....and there are days that she uses it a lot.  Here are some of her recent drawings: The first two are school buses and the last one is the Koren-boy-band who sings a song that was played at Mark & JungMin's reception.  In the music video, there are bubbles at the beginning, which is what the circles represent. But I'm sure everyone knew that already. :) She also received a "mini magnadoodle" from her Grandma and Grandpa.  This is the one we take with us on long car trips.  Recently, Chloe has wanted me to draw something as soon as we get in the car, and then "save" it for the person we're traveling to see.  This picture shows a Christmas tree that I drew and she decorated on the way to see Bill & Laura for Halloween.  :)  One of my favorites is this last one.....one of the first times she wrote her name:

Fall Leaves

Miss Independent

Independent April.  She didn't want Chloe to touch her while taking pictures of their new shoes.  The photos are proof, in case you don't believe me: "Chloe, stand next to your sister...."   "Don't pull her over....Don't touch her....Let go"   "How about standing by the door?"

Inspired from our visit to Connor's house:

First time that BOTH girls got their nails done :)

On your mark, Get set, Go!

Chloe likes to "race"....April does too - except sometimes she gets a little distracted:

Praying....

April was praying the other day!!  (Turn up your volume, at 7 seconds, she prays for cookies! :) )
