More Birthdays!

Happy Birthday to Kevin's dad and Kevin's grandpa - both have birthdays this week! 4 generations, taken at Christmas time

Happy Birthday!!

To my grandma and Chloe's great-grandma: Happy Birthday!

Mastering the Rings

Chloe is getting pretty good at taking the rings off the post. She got this toy for Christmas and for a while she was only pulling off the red ring and leaving the rest sit. Now.... they all come off! :)

Baptism

On January 10th, Chloe was baptized. She was the youngest out of the five babies that were baptized that Sunday but she did great! She was quiet the whole time, even when the pastor was holding her during the prayer. Here are a few pictures from that day ~ Chloe is wearing the same dress that I wore when I was baptized.

Smiles

This little girl is starting to know that we really like when she smiles at the camera. Either that, or she really just likes the camera! When I pull it out of the case, she start smiling! That means I'm getting some pretty good shots: (Notice the hair clip in this one ~ I was experimenting....any little movement made it fall out...) This picture is just because I don't make it to the blog very often....

Big Girl! Chloe at 5 months

Chloe is 5 months old and such a sweetie pie! In the last two weeks, Chloe has really started sitting up on her own. Here she is, in her room, playing on her own ~ take note of the bracelet that's around her wrist...It's from the purse* that her grandparents gave her for Christmas. I didn't put it there, but Chloe must have known that's where it belongs! The cutie-pie outfit is from Aunt Laura and Uncle Bill. Chloe has also started taking baths in the big tub ~ the sink was just too small! Here she is waving hello: And, who doesn't have a picture of their little girl in the tub with a fancy hair-do? :) *Both of us know the words to all the songs that the purse can 'sing'. "Ready to go out, I'll bring my purse along. Get my keys and bracelet, sing a little song. Look into the mirror, put my lipstick on. Wave and say bye-bye, I won't be gone too long!"....If only you knew the melody it would be stuck in your head all day!! :) Chloe

Cereal!

On Sunday, Chloe started eating cereal! She seemed to really enjoy it. After the first few bites she started opening her mouth for the spoon. Yesterday and today she had the same stance for eating: arms out, mouth open :) Here are some pictures from Sunday:

Future Shopper

"Let's see...what are the good deals this week?" "Look, lower prices on my favorite: cereal!" "Wow! There are a lot of good deals this week!" "Dad...are you trying to read this too?" Chloe had lots of fun reading with her dad the other night....He thought it was fun too! *100 posts on the blog! Next post: cereal! :)

The end of 2009....and Beginning of 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We spent time with each side of the family...in picture form, here is what we did: Chloe says she's ready to go to Mimi and Poppop's!: We visited with Kevin's dad's side of the family, and we got to meet the newest member Noah: We got all dressed up and went to the Christmas Eve service.... On Christmas morning, Chloe opened some presents that I had brought with us...She really liked the wrapping paper, but seems a little stunned in this photo: Chloe got a shirt from her friend Kira and wore it on Christmas Day: We had so much good food and played a lot of cards and other games. We got this 4 Generation photo right before we left: We drove back home and went straight to celebrate with Alison's dad's side of the family. On Sunday after church we had Alison's mom's side over to celebrate. Chloe opened more gifts and played with more wrapping paper....but she also loved one gift in particular...the rings from G
