Happy Halloween!

Our little "pumpkin head" says go eat some candy! :) Look for pictures of her in her bumblebee costume next week!

Weekend Visitors

Grandma and Grandpa S. came for a visit over last weekend! As we know, it's hard to take pictures of a moving object and Chloe was pretty much in constant motion over the two days they were here :) We did get some pictures while reading: Since they came at a similar time last year, I thought it would be fun to compare photos: 2009 2010 Thanks for coming to visit ~ it was great having you here!

Slippers are Cool

Chloe got a pair of slippers the other day! They help keep her feet warm....and I think she likes them!

Pumpkin Patch

Each fall, the MOMS group at my church does a Pumpkin Patch outing. Chloe and I got to go this year and it was a really nice day! We rode on the hay wagon Found the perfect pumpkin Visited with friends Took advantage of one of the "photo ops" Fed a calf at the petting zoo And watched the chickens, sheep, and ducks Then we had a picnic lunch with the rest of the group and Chloe was ready for a nap when we got home! It was a lot of fun and I think Chloe liked looking at the animals the best. I think she liked the hay wagon the least :) She was clinging to me the whole time! I didn't mind though :)

Crazy Fan

It was hard to get a picture of this little girl on Sunday -- she was just a "crazy fan" :)

Aunt Naomi

My Great Aunt Naomi (Chloe's great-great aunt!) was in town last week and we got a chance to visit with her. She was a lot of fun, checking out all the toys that were around. We got one okay picture at the end of the visit :) Before we left to visit Aunt Naomi, I had to take some pictures of Chloe in her cute "suit" .....The second picture is a little bit blurry, but the cuteness is still there :)

Guitar Practice

Anytime Kevin takes his guitar out to play, Chloe is right next to him with her guitar. Recently, she's tried strumming along with him....

5th Year Reunion

It's hard to believe that five years have passed since we graduated college.....but, when looking for a picture to put in this blog post, I realized that all my graduation pictures were taken on a film camera, so maybe it's not that hard to believe :) Anyway, we went back to GCC this weekend to celebrate our 5th year at Homecoming. We got to see a lot of good friends (missed you Duttons and Deterdings!!) and talked to some professors as well. We arrived in time to watch the parade: We met up with my cousins after lunch, which led to a bigger group of friends hanging out. We had fun watching the little girls play together. Towards the end of our time on campus, we headed back to the Tri-Rho hall for some pictures by the sign: We ended the day with a great dinner at Red Robin with the Jones' and the Martins. Chloe did great all day and we all enjoyed the beautiful weather!

Baby #2

Chloe's shirt was telling the truth! She's going to be a big sister, around April 22nd. We found out exactly one week after Chloe's first birthday.... Since then we've been reading.... and sharing our cups with the babies... I'm about 12 weeks along and things are going well so far! I think it will be interesting to be pregnant during opposite seasons as I was last time ~ not being huge in the middle of the summer will be nice! :)
