Weekend Travels!

We headed out to visit Kevin's side of the family over the weekend....probably our last big trip until after Baby comes! We stayed overnight at Mimi and Pop-pops.  They treated us to lunch on our way out, which was very exciting for everyone :)  We had so much fun, I didn't take any pictures! We arrived at Kevin's parents and relaxed in the evening....after seeing the trains, of course :)   We had Big Plans for Saturday, which involved taking the train downtown to the Franklin Institute.  We had wonderful weather for strolling and it wasn't overly crowded inside for a Saturday.   We were in need of a hearty lunch by the time we were done....so we went to Chinatown!  Uncle Mark and Aunt JungMin knew just where to take us.  Chloe was determined to use her chop-sticks to eat this wonton.  She did! :) We also stopped for smoothies in Chinatown - these two shared a strawberry one. This picture shows just how lucky I was -- Aunt

Coloring in 3-D

3-D is the reason for the glasses....which are upside-down because she has a cute button nose that doesn't stick out far enough to hold up the frames :) She really likes to use the coloring kit we got from Kevin's parents at Christmas.  The "stamper" is her favorite, but the other 'pencils' and 'markers' get a lot of use too!

Daddy Daughter

As soon as she heard the announcement at church for sign-ups, this girl was ready for the Daddy Daughter Dance!  It was on Saturday, and she had the time of her life :)  First, we got her hair ready - first time for a curly ponytail! :) This sweetie got to hang out with Mommy (we went to McDonalds!) but she got to get her picture with Daddy before he left.  Here is the lovely couple.  They had so much fun :)

Catch Up!

No excuse for the lack of blog posts.  Just had to get the pictures off the camera.... :) 26 weeks with Baby Boy...almost time to take the 30 week picture!  According to babycenter.com, at 26 weeks: The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about 1 2/3 pounds and measures 14 inches (about the size of a scallion) from head to heel. He's moving a lot still and I've felt a few bouts of the hiccups recently!  We've started a name list and will have to do some more deciding before May.  I feel more pregnant that I actually am, but I b
