Stickers

Someone is having a lot of fun with stickers these days.... Her most favorite is to put them on someone and then immediately peal it off! :)

Tipping back the Sippys

it's the good life.

Mark and JungMin's Visit

Uncle Mark and Aunt JungMin had a few free days and decided to come spend them with us! We were excited to have them :) I managed to make it in and out of the city without directions to pick them up from the bus station!!! Anyone who knows me, knows that this is sort-of a big deal :)  This is from dinnertime on Thursday night :) After dinner we took them to see the best view of our city & then for a little walk around downtown. Friday was a lazy morning, a car-title-transfer, lunch, hike at a local park...where JungMin was the only adult brave enough to go bare-foot in the water....and helped our girls maneuver through the creek! After naps we had a "grilled dinner" and then went to the pool!! Later on Friday night Kevin & Mark played ping-pong....can you find the ball? (It's a blur, since it was moving so fast) Kevin mentioned something about hosting Thanksgiving here so we could have a ping-pong tournament....and I said "as long as Mim

Flashback.....Saturday

Last August: This cutie was 4 months old (now she's 16 months today!) and working on keeping her head up: This cutie was in the middle of potty training and I was using chapstick to get her to sit longer :)

Last Camping Trip

We had our last camping trip of the summer last weekend.  We got to see my Uncle & Aunt's new house that we've only seen pictures of -- what a nice place!  We enjoyed our time...here are some pictures from the weekend: While we were setting up our tent, Chloe & Grace played with their baby "stuff" :) Rain! All Friday afternoon & evening....but it was okay, because we had a big room to play in and lots of toys to share. (Photo credit: Uncle Warren) Saturday morning started early (4:30am, for April & me!) so this walk was around 8:30 in the morning :) This tractor made it's way out of the garage & we took a ride!  Uncle Andrew has a wagon that can hitch on the back of the tractor, and there were some very excited kiddos riding! :) By Sunday, we were pretty tired, but still having fun.  These cousins have a good time together wherever we are! :) We stuck around for lunch (one of the few!) and Chloe snuck one more

I See You!

Ah, the little sister

I had fun looking for April in the birthday party pictures we took. She showed up in a lot of them and she really had herself a good time even though she was not the birthday girl! Party, there is a party??? I. Can't. Wait. Hmmm....watcha got there? Somethin' good? (this is a happy face) More presents....I'll hold the card for you. Purple Shoes still tied together! A John Deere Hat! A Clothing Label! This is after we came in from Chloe's first attempt on the skateboard.  Someone really wanted to wear the helmet.  :)

3

Well, I'm not sure how it happened so fast....but Chloe turned 3. So, we had a party on the 11th with the grandparents and great-grandparents (and Aunt Chelle & Tom!) The party theme was purple, as you might be able to tell from the pictures :)  She made her party hat because we couldn't find a purple one at the store.  She wrote her name across the front & put a ton of stickers on all sides :) "You make cupcakes for my birthday?" She's asked for the last month.  Here are the cupcakes! One excited girl! Loved it. I think this was my favorite birthday for her so far.  She was so excited about each gift (even if she did move very quickly through them!) and the expressions on her face are just priceless.  Dora doll from Grandma and Grandpa S. Play cash register...This was her favorite gift by far ~ good choice Mommom Ritter!!  She's played with it all day every day since the 11th.  I've bought more groceries and heard the little

Happy 3rd Birthday Chloe!

(see year 1 in review here ....and year 2 in review here )   We had such a great year with Chloe and love seeing her grow and learn.   Everyday is filled with fun and excitement.  She's full of energy! Year 3 will be filled with new challenges, but also lots of love! We love you Chloe Grace!
