3

Well, I'm not sure how it happened so fast....but Chloe turned 3. So, we had a party on the 11th with the grandparents and great-grandparents (and Aunt Chelle & Tom!)

The party theme was purple, as you might be able to tell from the pictures :)  She made her party hat because we couldn't find a purple one at the store.  She wrote her name across the front & put a ton of stickers on all sides :)

"You make cupcakes for my birthday?" She's asked for the last month.  Here are the cupcakes!

Loved it.

I think this was my favorite birthday for her so far.  She was so excited about each gift (even if she did move very quickly through them!) and the expressions on her face are just priceless.

Dora doll from Grandma and Grandpa S.

Play cash register...This was her favorite gift by far ~ good choice Mommom Ritter!!  She's played with it all day every day since the 11th.  I've bought more groceries and heard the little play scanner beep more times than I can count!

Fancy Nancy book from Aunt Chelle.

and....the skateboard.  It's the only thing she asked for.  All the things I said I'd never do as a parent ;)

So of course we went outside & tried it out!!

Sunday was her actual birthday & we all wore purple to church in her honor.

That afternoon we went to the park for a picnic dinner & swinging.

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

Baby Pool

Want to guess when Baby #2 is going to arrive? Post a comment, or send me an email, with your guess and I'll add you in! As a review, here are the rules to the game (taken from Heather Deterding!): 1. Post your guess for the baby's arrival in the "comment" section. Be sure to specify both date and time of day -- either "am" or "pm". 2. Limit one guess per person, and only one entry per time slot-- no sharing! 3. Winner is determined based on time of birth. For example, if the baby is born on April 20th at 7 AM, a guess of "April 20th, AM" would be the winner. In the event that there is no entry for the correct arrival time, the next closest guess based on actual time of birth would win. 4. We will post entries on the Calendar above. Check prior entries before placing your guess! Dates not displayed on the calendar above are still up for grabs. 5. The winner will receive... bragging rights and a congratulatory post h
