Can we do a craft?

I hear that question at least once a day.  Good thing I have a box of random "craft stuff" (as Chloe says) to let them create with....otherwise, we'd need to take a lot more trips to the store! Right now, they both love to use glue and enjoy using scissors as well.  The finished products.. April's: Chloe's:

Matching!

Chloe and April ended up being dressed the same last week after church.  They thought it was quite fun! :) I told them to stand with their noses together, and this was the first attempt... Cuties :)

Happy Birthday Nephew!

Happy 3rd Birthday Connor!! We hope you have a wonderful day - we had a fun year with you :) We know you will enjoy being 3 and will be a great Big Brother in May (or June!)  Enjoy looking through some pictures of you and your cousins....Hard to believe the "3 Amigos" will turn into the "5....", well, 5 somethings....I don't know what we'll name the group we'll have by the end of this year! :) (this is possibly my most favorite picture of Connor!) (I'll make sure to make this into an 8x10 for his high school graduation...playing with the ponies!)

So Fancy!

This is a real smile from April.  Something that is a little hard to catch on camera - she'll smile for you, but this is her "I'm really happy" smile. Clip on earrings bring out this smile.  She was SO PLEASED with herself :)   Just got extra fancy - added some beads and a crown! :) Chloe was happy too - but was busy making a decision about her next pair to try.  She's fancy too :)

Line Them Up!

Just a few of the lines that April has created recently.  She likes to have things back where they go, or "organized" as she's playing.

20 Weeks!

Halfway through with pregnancy, only 20 more weeks until we meet this little guy!! Your baby is definitely getting bigger (weighing in at about ten ounces and measuring six and a half inches), there's still plenty of growing room in there, which allows him to twist and turn (and allows you to feel his acrobatics!).  I'm feeling lots of moving! Mostly kicking, and then a pause, like he's tired out :)  Today Chloe asked me when our baby sleeps.   I told her he takes lots of naps during the day.  She has also started kissing my belly after she kisses me goodnight.  April has been using the growing bump as an arm rest when I'm reading books to her :)

Wrapping up Christmas...

Wrapping up? Or un-wrapping? Either one, we had two more Christmas visits....First one was at our house with Laura, Bill, Connor, Mawna, Pap, and Aunt Sandy. Please convince these people to find out if they are having a boy or girl. ;) Aunt Sandy was given baby Hannah to feed - look at her juggling that cup and everything! Connor opened some gifts.... Chloe and April opened some gifts.... Chloe had asked Santa for a baby doll stroller.  While opening her stocking the day before, she made a comment of "this isn't what I asked for"......Well, Mawna told Chloe that she had received a message from someone about a particular gift....She opened it....and, ran over to both my mom and dad with giant hugs of gratitude.  Santa and Mawna are friends ;) We hung out for the rest of the day, had a spaghetti dinner, and then this happened.  It might have been the highlight of the day for April.  She came back in after walking Cinnamon and said, "I had a g

Christmas in Review

The Sunday before Christmas we headed to Kevin's parents house and had a great time of visiting.  We had "Christmas morning" on Monday, but posed for a family photo first: Then, we opened presents! On Tuesday, the girls got to watch Charlie Brown's Christmas with Uncle Mark :) Then, we headed to Mimi and Poppop's.  We went to their church on Christmas Even and then snuggled into our beds.  On Wednesday morning, we had Christmas #2...and posed for pictures beforehand: Then, we opened presents :)  (it's like Monday, on repeat!) On the 26th, we drove back home .... napped ... then headed to my dad's side of the family's get-together for Christmas #3.  We did NOT pose for a picture, but there was a second-cousin gift exchange!  Then, on the 27th, we had our Christmas! :)  These next photos are blurry, but I had to post them.  Uncle Tom and Aunt Michelle got great gifts for the girls -- and their faces
