So Fancy!

This is a real smile from April.  Something that is a little hard to catch on camera - she'll smile for you, but this is her "I'm really happy" smile.

Clip on earrings bring out this smile.  She was SO PLEASED with herself :)

Just got extra fancy - added some beads and a crown! :)

Chloe was happy too - but was busy making a decision about her next pair to try.  She's fancy too :)

Took a few moments to catch up with you via your blog. The pictures of the girls with the earrings are the best! April is pouring over with happiness in that 2nd one! And, her lines of "whatever" . . . very interesting. Really cool to see those pictures. The three amigos are so much fun! It was nice to catch up with you in person a couple Sundays ago too. Tell Chloe I look at and admire her drawing each morning and am very thankful to her for giving it to me.

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
