Baby #3 Update

Look at that sweet boy's face.  That's right!   A baby BOY will be joining our family in May!! Here is a picture of the head, some of the torso and an arm reaching up to his head.  No thumb sucking, but just hiding from the camera maybe :)  Off to look at the baby name book....in a new section - boy names!
Had a wonderful Christmas week with these two cuties.  Regrouping today....and check back tomorrow for an update on Baby #3 (we're going for our ultrasound!).  After tomorrow's post, I'll do a Christmas recap....hopefully before the start of 2014!

Merry Christmas!

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of our dear Saviour's birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining, 'Til He appear'd and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O night divine, O night, O night Divine.

Chloe's letter to Santa

"Dear Santa, Please sent a  stroller baby stuff crafts barbie Love, Chloe" Based on what I know she's getting from some relatives, this girl is going to have a wonderful Christmas :)
Reading by the tree....a peaceful moment during a lot of busy times in December!!

The Little Sister

As many of you know, neither of our children are lacking in personality.  Especially, it seems, April ...but I think that's because she's 2 1/2 :)  Taking pictures for our Christmas cards led to some funny out-takes. So many good ones of Chloe - who is looking a little more like 15 instead of 4 1/2 ... Good thing I've got this funny girl who reminded me she's still very TWO. :) She even persuaded her sister to join the fun:

Dancing with Santa

stick with it, at the end she really gets grooving! :)

A Getting Ready Weekend

On Friday we got our tree!!  That train from the Thanksgiving post was put around our tree as soon as it was up :)  April and Chloe took turns playing engineer, while I got out the ornaments. Our finished tree!!  Every. Single. Ornament. We. Own. is on the tree....and Chloe would like to add more :)  It's a joy to decorate with them - such excitement and fun over every detail :) Saturday was a Christmas Tea for me, an afternoon of shopping with just parents (The girls spent the day with Mawna and Pap!!), a dinner date, and then we met up with our children and my parents at church for the Gingerbread House Party. April's Chloe's Kevin's Then, on Sunday, there was enough snow to play!!  Wonderful Dad Kevin played outside with the girls!

Thanksgiving Review

Happy Thanksgiving!  First, we started with a celebration with my mom's side. These two got early Christmas gifts because by next Christmas two more names will need to be added! Next, we went to my dad's side for a celebration and I didn't take any pictures! I guess that means I was having fun visiting...and eating :) Early on Friday we headed out to visit with Kevin's dad's side of the family.  On the way there, we saw a few spots of snow and ice - lots of ice - on trees and the hills...but not on the roads! Aunt JungMin spent a lot of time with these girls....this was the "safest" spot to color - it could easily be cleaned if the crayon left the paper!  Chloe received a Bible from Mimi and Poppop - and she requested that JungMin read some! :)  What a lovely moment captured here :) Grandpa got us a train for under the tree!! Here are the girls, with their second-cousin, watching it go. We had a great time of shari
