Beach Part 2

Each day we spent part of the time at the beach, and the other part of the time at the pool.  During our time at the beach, we were doing lots of things!! Searching for shells, looking at the small muscles that dig back down into the sand, watching crabs pop out of the sand and run for the water....building sandcastles, re-applying sunscreen, boogie boarding.....watching dolphins! enjoying the shade of our umbrella, digging in the sand, and emptying the snack cooler :) I kept the pictures "zoomed out" so you could see how great the waves were, and how few people were there! It was a wonderful time on the beach....but Peter didn't love it as much as the rest of us did.  By the end of the week he went out - with Daddy - and bobbed in the water, but mostly he just stayed in the sand.  Aunt Laura got him to come out with Brooke in the 'bubbles' and he liked that too.  Not much time in the ocean for Peter, but he still had a blast in the sand!

Beach Vacation Part 1

We headed to the beach this year for vacation!  As soon as we arrived, we put on bathing suits and went to see the ocean. Check back soon for more pictures from our week :)

Special Visitors

5-day weekend = trip!

When you've got Daddy home for a five-day 'weekend'....you've got to make travel plans!  We headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house to have a last visit with the train display (and also visit our family ;) ) Uncle Mark and JungMin showered Peter with belated birthday presents.  Here he is with most of them: a Phillies hat, a new sweatshirt, and a guitar! Uncle Mark was rocking out while Peter was dancing to the tune. After dinner one night, there was a double rainbow! We went outside to check it out - can you see both in the photo? Sunday cuties....I couldn't resist attempting to get a picture of these red-white-and-blue kiddos....turns out pretty good! (Notice the hat, still on Peter's head!!) Sunday afternoon we set up the sprinkler for the kids to play in! They had a lot of fun. Peter would wake up the morning asking if it was time for trains, and he got to run them a lot over four days!! Back at home and hosted
