Doodling....

Last Christmas, we got Chloe a magnadoodle....and there are days that she uses it a lot.  Here are some of her recent drawings:

The first two are school buses and the last one is the Koren-boy-band who sings a song that was played at Mark & JungMin's reception.  In the music video, there are bubbles at the beginning, which is what the circles represent. But I'm sure everyone knew that already. :)

She also received a "mini magnadoodle" from her Grandma and Grandpa.  This is the one we take with us on long car trips.  Recently, Chloe has wanted me to draw something as soon as we get in the car, and then "save" it for the person we're traveling to see.  This picture shows a Christmas tree that I drew and she decorated on the way to see Bill & Laura for Halloween.  :)

One of my favorites is this last one.....one of the first times she wrote her name:

Spring has sprung?

This week has brought some strange weather! On Saturday, it was freezing while we watched Peter's baseball game - it was the "late night, under the lights" 8:00 pm game. and my toes were numb when the game was over. Then, Sunday was beautiful weather to watch soccer! April scored TWO goals in her game! We had a silent-auction at a church lunch on Sunday to raise money for the Youth Group Missions Trip. Peter bid on a cooler full of interesting flavored soda-pop....and he won! The first one he tried? Pickle Pop.  For a few years, our neighborhood has been the area of choice for a few mallard ducks to nest. The momma duck picked my neighbors' driveway this year...it seems like Spring must be coming if there are eggs!

Crazy May

As is typical with three active kids, we've had a busy last few weeks! Photos coming soon of the dance recital, Peter's birthday party, school activities and more :)  Here is our May started: No power for 5 days! A wind-storm went through our area and several power lines were knocked over. We did have school for 3 days. The weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees, so it wasn't too bad :)

Mexico 2025 ;)

After a year of not blogging, I'm making this post as an attempt to restart :)  We went on a family vacation back in February that was wonderful. It was a good time of year to travel and the picture above is from the first day. We got to the resort at lunchtime, threw on the swimsuits, and then had a dinner reservation at 6! So it was a jam-packed day but everyone was thrilled! We enjoyed time at the pool, the kids grew more confident in speaking Spanish and ordering drinks, and each night was a great dinner & ice cream at the little coffee shop :) Everyone has said they would go back :)  Maybe some day!
