Merry Christmas

well, I don’t what happened! The months of November and December flew by! We’ve been busy with school and activities....here are some pictures to catch up-

Kevin and I got all dressed up for his work's holiday party - which was held before Thanksgiving! :)  It was a fun night out

Peter was very excited to see his favorite pups in the Macy's parade on Thanksgiving morning:

All the cousins piled on "Uncle Kevy" for this picture :)

At the beginning of December, April got glasses - she loves them!

We got our tree (do you spy legos?)

Chloe has joined Girl Scouts this fall and we got to come along for a trip to the Nutcracker when her troop had tickets. It was a fun girls' night out :)

April danced at a local nursing home with her dance class as a Christmas outreach.  She loved performing for the residents.

Kevin, Pap, and I saw Peter in his preschool's nativity play.  Peter's role was that of the "biggest brightest star" and his lines were: "I'll shine for you baby Jesus. Jesus is the light of the world" and he rocked it!

We also enjoyed our church's nativity play - Chloe was a narrator and April & Peter were pigs in the stable! ha!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)

A dear friend

I'm leading the study tomorrow at my Bible Study. We're reading a book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan and the chapter I'm in 'charge of' of real life examples of people who are living completely for Christ. I've come up with an example from my own life to talk about and I thought I'd let my blog readers in on what I'm going to share tomorrow. Enjoy! I met Mrs. Hohman on a hot July afternoon after mistakenly knocking on her neighbor’s door. I stood on her front porch with my mom, nervously waiting to meet the woman I planned on living with for my first year at Grove City . I felt like I was towering over her short frame as she showed me the 3 rd floor and barked the rules of “no swearing, no smoking, no boys”. I handed over my rent check and moved to her house in late August. September came and a fellow freshman had a mental breakdown and her bed was now available to me…… So, after 3 weeks of living with Mrs. Hohman I moved out....
