Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend was so much fun!!  Uncle Tom and Aunt Chelle came! Yippee!  Peter was excited :)

Saturday was the Annual Egg Hunt at my parent's house.  Here I am with Brooke and Peter! :) Brooke is ADORABLE.  I just couldn't get enough of her sweetness.  Just a peach.  Love my Peter-boy too, don't worry :)

April found an egg!

Some-bunny else found an egg too :)

After the Hunt and lunch, the kiddos got gifts from Chelle and Tom.  This picture is funny to me because of the faces Chloe and April are making.  Fitting for their personalities!

What was in the bag? Kites!! It was a PERFECT day for kite flying.

After a fun afternoon, and naps for the babies, we headed out for dinner.  Chloe loved this girl too :)

I mean, my goodness.  Are you understanding why I love her so much?

Now, by next year, Chloe might be "too cool" to do the train.  Which makes me sad. But, I'll laugh at these photos for years to come - when she's too cool and too big to ride.  Hilarious and worth every penny we paid (and we paid a lot of pennies).

If we cropped out Connor and Peter, this would be a cute shot of the girls.....

But, most of them look like this....ha! This is harder than it looks!

Sunday, after church was nice enough for pictures outside.  Easter bonnets are fun to have!

During these group photos, Peter and Brooke were partnering up....

Let's look at one camera, while everyone is looking at another:

Should we cry and try to crawl off the couch next? Yes?

About to start their plan (check out those older siblings, keeping them on the couch!)

What a blessing to have family in town to celebrate a Risen Lord.  Worshiping on Sunday with the Hoffmans and knowing our kiddos were learning about what Jesus has done for us while in children's church was a special time for me this weekend.  I don't laugh as hard with anyone else other than these people! Good times, and I'm thankful!

Baby Pool

Want to guess when Baby #2 is going to arrive? Post a comment, or send me an email, with your guess and I'll add you in! As a review, here are the rules to the game (taken from Heather Deterding!): 1. Post your guess for the baby's arrival in the "comment" section. Be sure to specify both date and time of day -- either "am" or "pm". 2. Limit one guess per person, and only one entry per time slot-- no sharing! 3. Winner is determined based on time of birth. For example, if the baby is born on April 20th at 7 AM, a guess of "April 20th, AM" would be the winner. In the event that there is no entry for the correct arrival time, the next closest guess based on actual time of birth would win. 4. We will post entries on the Calendar above. Check prior entries before placing your guess! Dates not displayed on the calendar above are still up for grabs. 5. The winner will receive... bragging rights and a congratulatory post h...

April Hope

Praise God! We are thrilled to announce the birth of April Hope, born this morning at 4:42 a.m. and weighing in at 8 lbs 3 oz. and 20.5 inches long. We think she is beautiful! Both April and Alison are doing great. Here are just a few of many pictures taken on her first day. More to come... Chloe at 11 months

I can hardly believe that Chloe will have her 1st birthday next month. She is getting increasingly mobile these days - her 'crawl' is getting faster and faster. She is also pulling up on anything she trusts and occasionally cruises from one place to another. If you watched the video, you have also seen that she can use the walker...but needs Dad's help on the turns :) Chloe still loves music of any kind ~ she sways back and forth when the music starts. Singing will bring her out of any temper tantrum or pout. She likes to be outside and still tries to eat rocks...something we're still slowly learning... Over Memorial Day, Chloe had quite an interest in the American flag and at the 4th of July we found that her love hadn't faded and she carried around the flag all day. She likes her new toys (nesting boxes and a "push the button, door pops open") but is still interested in some of her old ones. She likes anything with a lid and has a new fascination ...
