Peter is 4 months!

Peter had his 4-month check up today.  He weighs 15 pounds, 13 ounces and is 26 inches long! He eats every 3 to 3 1/2 hours throughout the day and sleeps from 10:30pm to 7am overnight :)

He is such a happy baby - never too fussy, unless he's overly tired!  He's pretty wiggly most of the time.  Always looking around, moving his legs, reaching and holding toys!  Peter likes his green ball and his "crinkle book" the best right now.  His favorite song is "Pat a Cake" and it's possible that his first words will be the lyrics to the Frozen soundtrack ;)   Seriously, he does seem to enjoy music.

He LOVES bathtime.  Kicking around in the water brings out lots of smiles and squeals of delight!  He's the third kiddo to wear this Eagles outfit, but the only one who has fit it properly :)  Much bigger than his sisters at this age!

Speaking of sisters, these two adore Peter....and Peter adores them! Both Chloe and April receive huge grins from him in the mornings when he sees them for the first time.  So much fun to see their relationships growing!! :)

A dear friend

I'm leading the study tomorrow at my Bible Study. We're reading a book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan and the chapter I'm in 'charge of' of real life examples of people who are living completely for Christ. I've come up with an example from my own life to talk about and I thought I'd let my blog readers in on what I'm going to share tomorrow. Enjoy! I met Mrs. Hohman on a hot July afternoon after mistakenly knocking on her neighbor’s door. I stood on her front porch with my mom, nervously waiting to meet the woman I planned on living with for my first year at Grove City . I felt like I was towering over her short frame as she showed me the 3 rd floor and barked the rules of “no swearing, no smoking, no boys”. I handed over my rent check and moved to her house in late August. September came and a fellow freshman had a mental breakdown and her bed was now available to me…… So, after 3 weeks of living with Mrs. Hohman I moved out....

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)
