Trick or Treat in the Park

If it is done one time in my family, it's a tradition that must be repeated for years on end. I happen to love this. It means that we went to visit Uncle Bill, Aunt Laura, and Connor again this year for Trick or Treat in the Park.  Last year, we played in the leaves before dinner on Friday. So, we did that again this year: This is the best picture I got of April....leaves were sort of an issue for her... this time it was on her face, not in her mouth :) but she recovered nicely :) Changed into jammies from Aunt Chelle and watched a show before bed on Friday: Saturday we played all morning - and after each child started randomly jumping on an adult of their choice in the living room, Aunt Laura redirected them and we had fun playing with these "magic beans" that Uncle Paul and Aunt Sandy sent: After lunch at a pizza buffet (which was excellent!) we headed to the park. We had to take a slide picture, of course.  I'll have to do...

"Yucky Charms"

When she says "Lucky" it sounds like "Yucky" :)

Of course, you know what they are up to...

it's football masks. but, you probably already knew that. :)

Overcomer

Please be mindful of April right around 44 seconds, which is my favorite part :) This is just them, jamming to Mandesa's latest, Overcomer.

The Duck

While I was away the first weekend in October, the rest of the family went to see the duck! It was downtown for a little while, moving somewhere else already...but it was the first thing April told me about when I got back! It was "docked" near the fountain, which lent itself to lots of photo ops....including a rainbow!

10 on 11 :) - October

I recently saw a project called "Kids Were Here" and that is the inspiration behind my 10 photos for October.  These little reminders sometimes go unnoticed, so it was fun to find some to take pictures of for the blog! Some were more "hidden" than others...overall, it represents our house on a daily basis :)
