10 on 11 :) - October

I recently saw a project called "Kids Were Here" and that is the inspiration behind my 10 photos for October.  These little reminders sometimes go unnoticed, so it was fun to find some to take pictures of for the blog!

Some were more "hidden" than others...overall, it represents our house on a daily basis :)

This was THE best 10 on 10 you have ever done, Alison! The number of times I was told that I would miss these little "reminders" or the fingerprints everywhere some day is too numerous to count, but oh my! how true it is. Enjoy those little sweethearts of yours. ~Michelle G

Spring has sprung?

This week has brought some strange weather! On Saturday, it was freezing while we watched Peter's baseball game - it was the "late night, under the lights" 8:00 pm game. and my toes were numb when the game was over. Then, Sunday was beautiful weather to watch soccer! April scored TWO goals in her game! We had a silent-auction at a church lunch on Sunday to raise money for the Youth Group Missions Trip. Peter bid on a cooler full of interesting flavored soda-pop....and he won! The first one he tried? Pickle Pop.  For a few years, our neighborhood has been the area of choice for a few mallard ducks to nest. The momma duck picked my neighbors' driveway this year...it seems like Spring must be coming if there are eggs!

Crazy May

As is typical with three active kids, we've had a busy last few weeks! Photos coming soon of the dance recital, Peter's birthday party, school activities and more :)  Here is our May started: No power for 5 days! A wind-storm went through our area and several power lines were knocked over. We did have school for 3 days. The weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees, so it wasn't too bad :)

Happy 4th Birthday Chloe!
