Princess Themed Birthday

The day started off on a very happy note - donuts and balloons delivered from Mawna :)  Of course, the birthday girl had one and so did a very happy little sister :)

Chloe's friend, Claire, has a birthday just two days away from Chloe's and was able to invite 2 friends to go to the zoo with her.  Chloe was invited and the zoo-date fell on her birthday! So, she got to go over, do crafts, and then go to the zoo -- she had the best time :)

Later that day, April had left for a sleepover at Mawna and Pap's (which she was quite happy about!) and the Birthday Girl had a dinner of: ham, mac-and-cheese, and cooked carrots.  Her 3 favorites :)  Then, she opened her gifts from us.  See this face? You'll see it again!

Then, we skyped with Aunt Chelle and opened the gift box that had come in the mail.  Ballet Shoes! and tights! and a leotard! Chloe is starting dance lessons next month.

Saturday was the day of her party and this beautiful arrangement came from Aunt Chelle and Uncle Tom - who were sad to be missing the party.

Look at that face!! :)  Angry Birds game from Uncle Mark and Aunt JungMin.  Has been played every day since the party :)

Cinderella shoes from Mawna and Pap.  She has longed for these shoes since seeing them ... and her wish came true!

Twenty one-dollar-bills from Mimi and Pop = very excited Chloe :)

Princess Legos from Mommom R.
She also received pajamas, a book, two skirts, a mosaic-craft kit, and a baseball tee.  Those pictures are blurry because she was so pleased and wiggly while opening her gifts ;)  I think she felt special and celebrated during her Princess-Party-Day! :)

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
