Weekend Travels

We left on Friday for a trip ~ we visited Uncle Bill, Aunt Laura, and Connor!  Chloe has been so excited to see them.  I think Connor was excited to see us:

April was excited to see the fish:

And Chloe was excited to ride in the Little Coupe Car:

Daddy found a tree to climb :)  This tree has lost almost all it's leaves & Uncle Bill had been making a big pile around the trunk.

We played in the leaves before dinner.  The little slide was moved so the kids would land in the pile.....April thought it was fun.....

Chloe did too....

Connor hated it.

But then he came around :)

After dinner we went to a local playground and had a blast. All three kids fit on this slide!

Bedtime was a breeze that night -- all that fresh air wore everyone out!!

The next morning, we met up with Monnor, Pap, Aunt Michelle, and Uncle Tom at a local pumpkin patch.  There was a petting zoo, a hay ride, a few games, and of course, pumpkins!

There were a bunch of baby goats (6 weeks old) that were Chloe's favorite.  April seemed to just love all the goats....and they seemed to love her :)

We headed down the little path to the pumpkin patch....Aunt Michelle thought about joining Connor in the wagon :)

then, she took a great picture of the four of us! Thanks Chelle! :)

Later that night (after naps and pizza dinner) we went to a local campground that offered trick-or-treating.  We had to get a picture of the cousins in their costumes ~ Chloe is a bumblebee, April is a lion, and Connor is Thomas the Train:

I think at this age, Chloe is easily frightened or doesn't get it at all.  She saw this at the entrance and started saying "little Miss Muffit...." haha.

All the kids did a great job - but really, I think Aunt Laura, Aunt Michelle, and Uncle Tom did a lot of the work....I just pushed an empty stroller! :)

What a fun filled trip! We went to church on Sunday and then headed out to Mimi and Poppops since they are close by.  We stayed overnight and relaxed with them on Monday morning.  Mimi made an excellent lunch for us and then we headed home!

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
