Pumpkin Patch

I took my 'pumpkin heads' to the Pumpkin Patch!

Well, April was a pumpkin head :)

First, Chloe was scared of the tractor and we decided to play on the wooden one -

and she was totally fine during the wagon ride!

The wagon dropped us off in the middle of the pumpkin patch....We had to walk to find the perfect pumpkin:

Found it!

Looks good enough to eat:

All that searching for the perfect pumpkin was exhausting:

But we had enough energy left to feed the animals:

and have lunch ourselves! :)

It was a fun day! :)

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)

Thanksgiving Turkey

My brother-in-law raises turkeys, and we had one on Thanksgiving this year! It was a 31 pound turkey and took up a lot of space in my refrigerator for a few days before the holiday. I started the cooking process early so it was done by lunchtime.  Here is the turkey, barely fitting into my oven!  "the farmer and the chef" :)
