24th and 25th

I'll be doing the Christmas re-cap in a few posts, mostly because some of the pictures are still on the camera :) We were all home on the 24th and Chloe went outside in the snow for the first time this winter. Kevin stayed outside longer than I did - I just snapped a few pictures :) Here is Chloe all bundled up: She really seemed to like being outside.....who cares that it's cold? :) Later in the day we had dinner and then got dressed up for the Christmas Eve service at church: Christmas morning! We opened presents by the tree at our house first. What could this be?... A new sippy cup! Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa B's house. There was one present that was almost as big as Chloe: It was a grocery cart and "groceries" for Chloe! She has had a lot of fun pushing it around and 'shopping' :) Chloe got a lot of other great gifts too - clothes, a ball, bath toys, and this pair of slippers from Aunt Michelle's boyfriend: We spent the rest of the da...

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

22 Weeks

I'm actually at 22 weeks but because of our camera 'issues' this picture is from 20 weeks: Here is what babycenter.com has to say about this little girl at 22 weeks: At 11 inches ( the length of a spaghetti squash ) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily. So! We've got about 20 more weeks to go and then we get to meet her! Time to start trying to pick a name and as soon as all the Christmas decoration...

Catch - Up

I feel like it's been a long time since I've blogged! Sorry for the absence....not much to blog about when I don't have any pictures! Thanks to Erin & Jared letting us borrow an 'extra' camera, we have some pictures - otherwise we'd be waiting to decide...and then shopping...and then finally we'd have one, but Christmas would be over! :) In general, we've just been hanging out, enjoying the Christmas season....while wearing gold beads, of course: We made press cookies with Dad. He is the expert at the press and I don't even attempt! Chloe helped Dad stir: and sprinkle: and eat! Chloe got to wear an holiday outfit from Mommom B. to church on Sunday ~ the second picture makes me think she knows she's cute: On Sunday afternoon we decorated Mommom R.'s tree. Chloe got this santa hat and a Christmas bib from Uncle Paul and Aunt Sandy: We got some pictures before we left next to the tree: Chloe noticed that Sandy was also wearing a hat:...

Love Your Outfit.

Chloe had on one of my scarves and my slippers the other day....She loved the fluffy scarf!

Little Helper

My mom and I made hard-tack candy on Saturday and Chloe was a good helper. First, she modeled Grandma B's hat: She stayed busy 'mixing' and playing with cups and bowls on the floor while we made our candy. At the end, she got to help clean up...it's safe to say that she loves powdered sugar! Chloe also helped us set up the tree. She helped Dad with the lights: and helped put some ornaments on ~ can you spy the gold star, clothes-pin Santa, square candle, and white cross? That was the perfect spot for every ornament Chloe picked. :) This little helper did not pose well for me on Sunday before church.....but I had to show you her cute penguin dress and new purple shoes! :)
