Catch - Up

I feel like it's been a long time since I've blogged! Sorry for the absence....not much to blog about when I don't have any pictures! Thanks to Erin & Jared letting us borrow an 'extra' camera, we have some pictures - otherwise we'd be waiting to decide...and then shopping...and then finally we'd have one, but Christmas would be over! :)

In general, we've just been hanging out, enjoying the Christmas season....while wearing gold beads, of course:

We made press cookies with Dad. He is the expert at the press and I don't even attempt! Chloe helped Dad stir:

and sprinkle:
and eat!

Chloe got to wear an holiday outfit from Mommom B. to church on Sunday ~ the second picture makes me think she knows she's cute:

On Sunday afternoon we decorated Mommom R.'s tree. Chloe got this santa hat and a Christmas bib from Uncle Paul and Aunt Sandy:

We got some pictures before we left next to the tree:

Chloe noticed that Sandy was also wearing a hat:

This week is off to a busy start with grocery shopping and cookie making! I'll be posting my 20 week picture of baby #2 soon....which is good considering I'm moving into week 21! :)

It looks like your mom, Kevin, has done a good job at teaching you how to make Christmas cookies. They look wonderful!

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
