Warm Weather

Recently, we've had some really nice weather and Chloe loves to be outside. One of her favorite things to do while we're outside is watch anyone cut grass - especially when it's her dad, she shouts to him the whole time :) If our neighbors are out with their lawn mowers, she's always trying to find them.

Here she is - on our 'concrete beach' - watching Kevin mow our backyard:

We took a trip to visit one of my grandma's neighbors and I got Chloe's picture on the frogs ~ something that my sisters and I enjoyed playing on when we were young.
Kevin had a truckload of dirt delivered for the gardens and Chloe got her first ride in a wheelbarrow. Don't worry, he drove slowly and Chloe hung on:

Kevin loves to push these kids in wheel barrels! Jacob would like him to come over and give him a ride as well!

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
