Happy Helpers!

The girls were excited to have Peter join us while we made a batch of cookies! :)

Peter is 4 months!

Peter had his 4-month check up today.  He weighs 15 pounds, 13 ounces and is 26 inches long! He eats every 3 to 3 1/2 hours throughout the day and sleeps from 10:30pm to 7am overnight :) He is such a happy baby - never too fussy, unless he's overly tired!  He's pretty wiggly most of the time.  Always looking around, moving his legs, reaching and holding toys!  Peter likes his green ball and his "crinkle book" the best right now.  His favorite song is "Pat a Cake" and it's possible that his first words will be the lyrics to the Frozen soundtrack ;)   Seriously, he does seem to enjoy music. He LOVES bathtime.  Kicking around in the water brings out lots of smiles and squeals of delight!  He's the third kiddo to wear this Eagles outfit, but the only one who has fit it properly :)  Much bigger than his sisters at this age! Speaking of sisters, these two adore Peter....and Peter adores them! Both Chloe and April receive...

Trip to the "City"

What a difference four months can make....I think my cheeks have shrunk in the same proportion that Peter has grown! :) The top picture is from Mother's Day weekend - I was 38 weeks pregnant....The picture below is from a weekend ago when we took Peter to the 'city' for the first time! I'll be posting Peter's 4 month update after next week's doctor's appointment - so I can let you all know how much he's grown!!

trending....

I guess this is what my babies do at (almost) 4 months.....evidence from Chloe and April is below! :)

Look Alikes

Uncle Mark must be going through the family archives, because he recently sent us a picture of "little Kevin"....I found a picture of Chloe in a similar pose....Uncle Mark thinks they look a lot alike....what's your vote?? :)

April Hope

I've been asking her to stay 3 forever.....she responds "I will not.  I'll be four and then five.  All the way to a hundred." I put her bowl of cereal on the stovetop to get milk out of the fridge.  She said "Is is going to burn?!" She tells people that she just turned 3.  I think it's because she can still remember her birthday.  I'm really enjoying this girl lately!  She's passionate about her ideas, is very caring, and such a cutie pie.  Too bad she can't stay 3 forever :)

Soccer Player!

Chloe started a 6-week soccer program on Saturday.  She was pretty excited to go -- Daddy said she did a good job! After getting tangled a little during the game, she was nervous to go back out.  We decided she'd be able to do the whole game next week because everyone would be a little more 'practiced' :)
