Mexico Trip!

Kevin and I got to go to Cancun for a friends-trip, and it was a great escape from winter weather at home! It was only possible because my parents & sister (and her family) were willing to help out with Chloe, April, and Peter. Big thank you to all of them!!

Here are some pictures from our time away:

We got to eat breakfast at the airport club, which was very nice!

The wives got their husbands the same swimsuit - with our faces on them! If you click the photo, I think you can zoom in :)

We enjoyed several great dinners and shows. We only had one afternoon of rain, but it wasn't even enough to get us to leave the beach!

Most of the time, it was sunny like this!

Kevin got the "catch of the day" for lunch - and it was the whole catch on his plate!!

Here is our before and after of tennis:

We also tried paddleboarding on a really windy morning.

It was a great time with great friends! :)

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
