Camping Trip Part 2

We enjoyed an extended-stay at my Uncle and Aunt's house.  My parents, sisters, and family stayed a few extra days and did some "off campus" activities:

A train was coming - April and Connor were pretty excited :)

Mawna attempted to make April smile by making funny faces and waving her hands in the air....so that's what April did too :)

A river visit:

my hot hubby

Cousin time!!

Pap flew his airplane!

April was Uncle Andrew's buddy - here they are taking a stroll around the garden.

Smores...and this happened.

More cousin time! Coloring, game playing, running around - everything was more fun when Connor was there!

time-out for a birthday gift for Chole!

Missing Uncle Tom, but a pretty good family photo!

It looks like you had a fabulous time with memories to last many, many years. Without a doubt these are THE cutest 3 kiddos I have seen in quite a while (at least the past 23 years :) ). I can just see Mawna trying her best to get April to smile only to have April respond as she did - I'm surprised you're not all cracking up over that one! Love being able to keep up with your sweet little family via your blog. ~ Michelle G.

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

Camping Trips #2 and #3

At the beginning of August, we went on a camping trip with my immediate family. We had great campsites, right next to each other, and had fabulous weather. Chloe had a great time hanging out with her Aunt Laura, Uncle Bill, and Aunt Michelle: She also loved my dad's cell phone ringtone: Who says you can't eat great food while you're camping? Check out our dinner feast on Saturday night....Corn on the cob, cheeseburgers, grilled pineapple: Chloe had her first taste of the "beach" when we went to the lake one day. It was the first time she was in the sand, and I think she really liked it! When looking back at the camping pictures, I realized that Chloe wore a lot of hats on this trip: We got back from a Cousins Camping Trip on Sunday night. (Almost) All my cousins got together for the weekend and we had a great time. Another camping trip with good campsites and this time we just had okay weather. It rained Saturday night so everything was a bit soggy on Sunday ...
