April's First Hair Cut

Now that's she's a year old....I don't feel too bad about chopping off April's hair.  I don't have much to work with, of course :) , but these two pictures kind-of show how long it was in the back...I had a majorly crop the pictures, so they are not the best quality....After looking for a while, I realized I don't take many pictures of the back of my girls' heads :)

(this one shows the most I think - Look at that big chunk of hair behind her ear!)

During Wheel of Fortune the other night, I cut the back straight...

and took a little off the top :)
(also, in this picture, there is no denying that she's getting chubby!)

Cute! Poor Luke is going to be lucky if he makes it to 5 months before I have to cut it! April and Luke need to switch heads of hair!

Wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! :) We attended Natalie and Dallas' wedding on Saturday and had a lovely time. We know both the bride and groom from college....and just happen to be great friends with the bride's parents as well (Hi Bill and Doreen!). Here is the new couple - Natalie looked beautiful, and Dallas looked pretty good too ;) Here I am with the bride - check out her BLUE shoes! No wedding is complete without a little dancing and singing....particularly to Livin on a Prayer....Steve, Jeff, and Kevin sang at the top of their lungs and performed an air guitar solo: even the bride joined in: We had a great time! I'm thinking of the honeymooners.....kind of wishing I was on a tropical island somewhere too! :)

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
