April Hope at 4 months

Weighing in at 11 pounds, 13 ounces April is a little peanut! She's in the 95% for height (25 inches) which is a jump from the 75% at 2 months....so she stretched out without time to fill out yet :) The doctor said he was pleased with her growth - so we're not fearful that she'll stay small forever :)

April's favorite song is Row, Row, Row, Your Boat and seems to favor her crinkle-book out of her toys. She loves the swing too! She's still very interested in watching Chloe and is so close to laughing! We got her giggling pretty good the other night and it's so fun to know that the belly laugh will be next :)

She is reaching and grabbing things too - which is a change from last month. April is still wonderful during tummy-time.

She eats every 3 hours and sleeps well at night! We'll be starting cereal in a few more weeks :) She is a "drool-queen" and constantly has her fingers in her mouth - she wears a bib all the time!

We love you April! Can't wait to watch you grow and continue learning!

She is so cute!
Small and tall? sounds like a great combination, must be all the fresh air and sunshine she enjoys, glad she is growing and healthy.

Spring has sprung?

This week has brought some strange weather! On Saturday, it was freezing while we watched Peter's baseball game - it was the "late night, under the lights" 8:00 pm game. and my toes were numb when the game was over. Then, Sunday was beautiful weather to watch soccer! April scored TWO goals in her game! We had a silent-auction at a church lunch on Sunday to raise money for the Youth Group Missions Trip. Peter bid on a cooler full of interesting flavored soda-pop....and he won! The first one he tried? Pickle Pop.  For a few years, our neighborhood has been the area of choice for a few mallard ducks to nest. The momma duck picked my neighbors' driveway this year...it seems like Spring must be coming if there are eggs!

Crazy May

As is typical with three active kids, we've had a busy last few weeks! Photos coming soon of the dance recital, Peter's birthday party, school activities and more :)  Here is our May started: No power for 5 days! A wind-storm went through our area and several power lines were knocked over. We did have school for 3 days. The weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees, so it wasn't too bad :)

Happy 4th Birthday Chloe!

You are growing into a compassionate, cheerful, young lady! We love you Chloe and are looking forward to this year with you!! 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013
