Spring has Sprung!

Spring weather has finally showed up....which means that some of us have been out in the garden, digging in the dirt:

Finding worms (which she promptly threw back into the garden!)...

and getting ready for vegetable season....

In other news, we brought Chloe out to the car for a photo opt:

Turns out Kevin's car hasn't been dusted for at least 100,000 miles ;)

Tomorrow I have my 39 week appointment at the doctors and will update you all on any progress made to meet this new little girl! I had some contractions over the weekend that didn't result in a baby being born, but maybe sooner rather than later!

Spring has sprung?

This week has brought some strange weather! On Saturday, it was freezing while we watched Peter's baseball game - it was the "late night, under the lights" 8:00 pm game. and my toes were numb when the game was over. Then, Sunday was beautiful weather to watch soccer! April scored TWO goals in her game! We had a silent-auction at a church lunch on Sunday to raise money for the Youth Group Missions Trip. Peter bid on a cooler full of interesting flavored soda-pop....and he won! The first one he tried? Pickle Pop.  For a few years, our neighborhood has been the area of choice for a few mallard ducks to nest. The momma duck picked my neighbors' driveway this year...it seems like Spring must be coming if there are eggs!

Crazy May

As is typical with three active kids, we've had a busy last few weeks! Photos coming soon of the dance recital, Peter's birthday party, school activities and more :)  Here is our May started: No power for 5 days! A wind-storm went through our area and several power lines were knocked over. We did have school for 3 days. The weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees, so it wasn't too bad :)

Happy 4th Birthday Chloe!

You are growing into a compassionate, cheerful, young lady! We love you Chloe and are looking forward to this year with you!! 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013
