We got a new sidewalk and front step put in last week. Here is the area before they poured -- we had an evergreen bush removed, the railing & step were jack-hammered away, and the patio stone walkway was taken out. First load of concrete! Front step done! This is part of the process - the concrete is dumped, they use shovels to move it around, then use this ultra-high-tech wooden board to smooth it out. After it starts to harden a little, they use other tools to make the lines and design on the surface. Lloyd: the best babysitter around :) The finished product!
