We had such a fun weekend! We got to visit Uncle Tom, Aunt Chelle, and Linlee....plus see the Hoffmans and Mawna and Pap while we trick-or-treated.  It was a fun fall weekend!  Check out the proof that the kids all had a wonderful time: Our Saturday night was spent trick-or-treating with Tiger Connor, Minnie Mouse Brooke, Gumball Machine Linlee, Dalmatian Chloe, Cupcake April, and Superman Peter :)

The girls and I got to tag along with a friend's Girl Scout Troop on an overnight at the Zoo!  We had a lot of fun together :) We slept in an education building (I was glad not to be near animals during the night!) and dropped our stuff off first.  We met the ladies who would be the 'teachers' and played a few games. Our first stop in the Zoo was near the aquarium where there is breeding of different fish.  These ones are cuttlefish. There were also sand-dollars and hermit crabs in another tank.  After this building, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the aquarium. I snapped a picture from behind the moonjelly tank (my favorite!) We also learned about these "archer fish" that can shoot water from their mouths to move food down from trees (or in this case, the aquarium glass). We spent the evening in the aquarium, playing more games, and enjoying the creation! At 11:30......it was finally bedtime!  We shared an air...

Can you spot the 3 deer in the picture above?  Peter was the one who got to yell "go away deer!!!!" out the porch door and scared them away :) Then, while Pete and I were raking some leaves, we found this butterfly.  It's wing was injured, which helped us get a good look at it.  Someone even got brave and tried to touch it :)
