Two Months

Peter is two months old!  We went this morning for his check-up.  He weighs 13 pounds, and is 24 inches long.  We've been busy the past month, and so has this little guy, busy learning how to "talk", smile, lift his head up....He continues to be a good eater and a pretty good sleeper :) I don't think these girls will be tired of Peter any time soon (maybe when he starts getting into their stuff!) and are always asking to hold him. We love you Peter William!!

It's Genetic

"Glamping" 2014

When planning our summer vacation, we decided "glamping" (aka, glamor camping) was our best option.  Instead of a campsite, we stayed with our friends and with the Hoffmans....and had the use of electricity, air conditioning, and regular stoves :) Kevin and the girls slept in the tent, I was inside with Peter. Here are some pictures from our week away! 9th Annual Camping Trip :) Peter hanging with the girls...the lone boy! Picnic grove behind the house! "glamping" includes watching Frozen videos online :) So happy to have a pool to stay cool and AC to keep the little kids (and their moms) cool.  Can't even tell Heather is 38 weeks pregnant, can you? A little back-yard kick ball Braving thunderstorms in the camper! We took a "hike"...which was really a walk on a gravel path, only to find out the path was closed due to some target practice. :)  These girls were ready for anything (binoculars, hats, sunglasses) ...

Two Months!

Of course, this isn't the "couch picture" that I take on the monthly birthdays....that will come when I post his 2 month stats from the doctors.  Instead, check out these recent pictures of our sweet boy!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

We love you!   These girls think you are the best Dad ever... This boy is waving "hi" :)  He already knows you are fun - and I hope he grows up to be just like you! Happy Birthday :)

Good Book??

Chloe has enjoyed the children's version of Pilgrims Progress that we received at Christmas.  Kevin has read through it with her once and she asked to start again.  So, over the weekend they read the first few chapters. Oh, did you notice something?  Maybe, our middle child slumped over?? Maybe it was the sound of her Dad's soothing reading voice...but this kiddo fell asleep right there on the couch :)

4th of July

We hosted a family picnic at our house on the 4th.  That meant Connor and Brooke joined us - snapped this picture of the kids before the rest of the guests came! We got this neat see-saw from our neighbors! We can walk to the park where fireworks are shot from in our neighborhood - we had great seats up on the hill this year!  Kevin got some good pictures!

Meeting Brooke!

After six weeks of waiting, we got to meet our new niece Brooke!  Of course, Aunt Laura had waited six weeks to meet Peter too: Kevin was the first one to hold both babies at once! :)  Isn't she so sweet?!  She's adorable :) Mawna, reliving (at least close) July of 83 ;) Who's foot is bigger? I vote Peter :) Do you see some similar features in their profiles? I do! This girl was very excited to meet Brooke - and even more excited to hold two babies at the same time!! Pap, still an expert rocker-of-babies :) The three "big kids" enjoying dinner outside! Of course, Big Sister April wanted a turn to hold her new cousins too!  So much fun!!  Coming up: 4th of July!
