Peter got to join in on the "book before bed" the other night :)

As of Sunday, Peter William is a month old -- already! Today we went to the doctors, which is why I've waited to update the blog...so we know his stats... Peter is 10 pounds 14 ounces (!!!) and 22 1/2 inches long.  That puts him in the 70th percentile for weight and 88th percentile for height.  We've been adjusting to having a baby at our house.  The two big sisters LOVE their brother, and often ask to hold him.  When he starts making any noise they volunteer to get his binky and "shhh" him :)  Peter likes to do tummy time, which is a first here at our house.  The doctor was impressed with how much head control and eye contact he had....and told me at the end of the appointment that Peter is a "perfect baby".... He started sleeping from around 10:30pm to 6:30 am over the weekend -- which is making him the perfect baby in my mind too! :)  He's given us a few smiles....above is the closest thing I've gotten on camera. But, ...

Mom, is this going to be fun? This is awful.  Really horrible. I can't believe you're doing this. Oh. Actually, it's not too bad. Soap? On my head? Why not? Could you please get me out? I need a binky to help me recover.  Also, a mowhawk in my clean hair. Being nice and clean makes me tired.  Nightnight!

On June 1st, Chloe had her 1st dance recital!  She performed a ballet to "Bonjour" from Beauty and the Beast, along with the rest of her Ballet/Tap1 class. Chloe loved being on stage and performed really well!   Next time you see her, ask, and she'll show you the dance!  Aunt Michelle made the trip to see the dancer girl (and to meet her baby brother)!! Daddy survived 65 acts, a well-behaved-and-also-napped-halfway-through-April, and a dress-rehearsal the day before.
