Peter's Quilt

Time for this big-boy and his big-boy bed to have a quilt like his sisters.  I made this using the same technique as Chloe and April's, but lined up the squares to have a diagonal line instead of a diamond pattern.  It's all geometric prints (not one single flower!) and I used a few of Kevin's old dress shirts. He's had it since the end of November, but only recently did we take the side-rail down from his bed. It's much easier to take photos without the rail!! Here's the link to see Chloe's:  http://kevinandalison2009.blogspot.com/2013/03/chloes-quilt.html http://kevinandalison2009.blogspot.com/2013/03/chloes-quilt.html And to see April's:  http://kevinandalison2009.blogspot.com/2013/09/finallyquilt-2.html http://kevinandalison2009.blogspot.com/2013/09/finallyquilt-2.html

Snowman Sweater

Got a good smile & looking at the camera from Peter in his snowman sweater.....of course, I've got a bunch of "out-takes" too!

Snow!

We had a snow day! It wasn't too windy or freezing, so the kids played outside.  We also got to go sledding ~ so winter can be over now ;)

Christmas 2017

On Christmas Eve, the tree was lit, presents out.... Stockings hung with care. And then it was Christmas morning!! Kevin and I waited until 8:30 and then woke up the kids! Ha! After presents, sticky buns, and trying out all the gifts, we headed to my parents for the rest of Christmas Day. Uncle Bill had an experiment for the kids: turning pennies gold! They loved it :) My other pictures at my parents are chaotic! Lots of kids and lots of presents.  We had a fun day! The rest of the week was spent at home. We took the kid roller skating one day, but the rest of the time was low-key! On Friday we drove out to Kevin's parents house and exchanged gifts that evening. On Saturday, it snowed! The kids are watching Grandpa and Dad shovel. The Tiptons came over and we had a fun time with them. I think Uncle Bob liked his gift :) Do you see an addition in this family photo? Mark and JungMin got a dog right before Christmas.   ...

It's beginning to look....

....a lot like Christmas!  Enjoy these picture of us getting ready for the 25th :) We had a bout of pink eye + allergy to the drops + scratch on the lens for April.....so she's looking down or wearing sunglasses for a few pictures.  We are thankful that she's feeling much better now!  Two weekends ago (as April was still not feeling great) we got our tree: Only Chloe made it to church to make her gingerbread house. The other two made theirs at home: Of course, our dancing Santa is out and providing lots of fun! :) Last Thursday Peter had his Christmas program at preschool.  April was home for the last day of her eye issues, so she got to tag along! On Saturday we took some family pictures in front of the tree.  Everyone is getting bigger, so when you add mom and dad in....you can't really see the tree anymore ;)  Here is one of just the kids! In the afternoon, we went downtown to see Santa! The girls were telling him ...
