Christmas 2017

On Christmas Eve, the tree was lit, presents out....

Stockings hung with care.

And then it was Christmas morning!! Kevin and I waited until 8:30 and then woke up the kids! Ha!

After presents, sticky buns, and trying out all the gifts, we headed to my parents for the rest of Christmas Day. Uncle Bill had an experiment for the kids: turning pennies gold! They loved it :)

My other pictures at my parents are chaotic! Lots of kids and lots of presents.  We had a fun day! The rest of the week was spent at home. We took the kid roller skating one day, but the rest of the time was low-key!

On Friday we drove out to Kevin's parents house and exchanged gifts that evening.

On Saturday, it snowed! The kids are watching Grandpa and Dad shovel.

The Tiptons came over and we had a fun time with them. I think Uncle Bob liked his gift :)

Do you see an addition in this family photo? Mark and JungMin got a dog right before Christmas.

He added fun to our celebrations :)  The kids loved him!

Off to Carlisle to celebrate New Years.

Mimi got the kids just what they wanted - TOYS! :)

School started back up with a 2-hour delay on Tuesday! It was a full week of family time, which was great.

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)

A dear friend

I'm leading the study tomorrow at my Bible Study. We're reading a book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan and the chapter I'm in 'charge of' of real life examples of people who are living completely for Christ. I've come up with an example from my own life to talk about and I thought I'd let my blog readers in on what I'm going to share tomorrow. Enjoy! I met Mrs. Hohman on a hot July afternoon after mistakenly knocking on her neighbor’s door. I stood on her front porch with my mom, nervously waiting to meet the woman I planned on living with for my first year at Grove City . I felt like I was towering over her short frame as she showed me the 3 rd floor and barked the rules of “no swearing, no smoking, no boys”. I handed over my rent check and moved to her house in late August. September came and a fellow freshman had a mental breakdown and her bed was now available to me…… So, after 3 weeks of living with Mrs. Hohman I moved out....
