Camping!

Camping is exhausting for parents of young children. It's a torture that we like though - smores and campfire is a payment of sorts.  I'm thankful I've got kids who like to be outdoors - regardless of the weather!! :)  Enjoy the photos from the trip:

Thanksgiving Turkey

My brother-in-law raises turkeys, and we had one on Thanksgiving this year! It was a 31 pound turkey and took up a lot of space in my refrigerator for a few days before the holiday. I started the cooking process early so it was done by lunchtime.  Here is the turkey, barely fitting into my oven!  "the farmer and the chef" :)
