Spring Break and Easter

So, we took a few days to travel and visit cousins over Spring Break -- we also saw Mimi and Poppop, but I didn't take any pictures there!!

The weather was wonderful and these guys had so much fun playing outside!

We came back and had a day to recover before heading to Mawna and Paps on Saturday for the Annual Egg Hunt.

It was kind-of freezing, so we had a fire going and made smores!

Then off to the mall to ride the train!

Easter Sunday was beautiful weather, which was an all-day reminder of the bright future we have because of Jesus!

Spring has sprung?

This week has brought some strange weather! On Saturday, it was freezing while we watched Peter's baseball game - it was the "late night, under the lights" 8:00 pm game. and my toes were numb when the game was over. Then, Sunday was beautiful weather to watch soccer! April scored TWO goals in her game! We had a silent-auction at a church lunch on Sunday to raise money for the Youth Group Missions Trip. Peter bid on a cooler full of interesting flavored soda-pop....and he won! The first one he tried? Pickle Pop. For a few years, our neighborhood has been the area of choice for a few mallard ducks to nest. The momma duck picked my neighbors' driveway this year...it seems like Spring must be coming if there are eggs!

Crazy May

As is typical with three active kids, we've had a busy last few weeks! Photos coming soon of the dance recital, Peter's birthday party, school activities and more :) Here is our May started: No power for 5 days! A wind-storm went through our area and several power lines were knocked over. We did have school for 3 days. The weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees, so it wasn't too bad :)
