Weekend Travels!

We headed out to visit Kevin's side of the family over the weekend....probably our last big trip until after Baby comes!

We stayed overnight at Mimi and Pop-pops.  They treated us to lunch on our way out, which was very exciting for everyone :)  We had so much fun, I didn't take any pictures!

We arrived at Kevin's parents and relaxed in the evening....after seeing the trains, of course :)

We had Big Plans for Saturday, which involved taking the train downtown to the Franklin Institute.  We had wonderful weather for strolling and it wasn't overly crowded inside for a Saturday.

We were in need of a hearty lunch by the time we were done....so we went to Chinatown!  Uncle Mark and Aunt JungMin knew just where to take us.  Chloe was determined to use her chop-sticks to eat this wonton.  She did! :)

We also stopped for smoothies in Chinatown - these two shared a strawberry one.

This picture shows just how lucky I was -- Aunt JungMin holding Chloe's hand and Kevin giving April a shoulder ride meant that I just had to get myself and my purse to the train station.  It was a lot of walking for this 32-week pregnant lady! :)  I managed to stay relativity close to my group....good thing it wasn't raining!

I think we used 4 public restrooms during our visit to the city, which meant baths, for sure, even if it was past bedtime!  Here is April hanging with Uncle Mark after she was nice and clean!

Last minute piano playing wrapped up our visit.  This was a beautiful rendition of Chop-Sticks :)

We had a great visit!  Looking forward to seeing you again!

Thanksgiving Turkey

My brother-in-law raises turkeys, and we had one on Thanksgiving this year! It was a 31 pound turkey and took up a lot of space in my refrigerator for a few days before the holiday. I started the cooking process early so it was done by lunchtime.  Here is the turkey, barely fitting into my oven!  "the farmer and the chef" :)

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)
