Science!

We had a special delivery of steaks from Mimi and Poppop (THANK YOU!) and it came with some dry ice in the bottom of the box.  Of course, we had to call our Uncle Bill to see what fun things we should do with the ice!  He had lots of ideas, some of them not really for children :)

He suggested adding bubbles and some warm water in a "vase"....because he knew we didn't have graduated cylendars at our house ;) .....and tossing in a piece of dry ice.  So, that's what we did!

At first, it was smoky, but you can see some bubbles rising up in our container.  Soon, they were all over the place!

Very serious "thumbs up for science" from these two :)

We started getting some really big bubbles towards the end - when I threw in a 'really big piece'.

Baby Pool

Want to guess when Baby #2 is going to arrive? Post a comment, or send me an email, with your guess and I'll add you in! As a review, here are the rules to the game (taken from Heather Deterding!): 1. Post your guess for the baby's arrival in the "comment" section. Be sure to specify both date and time of day -- either "am" or "pm". 2. Limit one guess per person, and only one entry per time slot-- no sharing! 3. Winner is determined based on time of birth. For example, if the baby is born on April 20th at 7 AM, a guess of "April 20th, AM" would be the winner. In the event that there is no entry for the correct arrival time, the next closest guess based on actual time of birth would win. 4. We will post entries on the Calendar above. Check prior entries before placing your guess! Dates not displayed on the calendar above are still up for grabs. 5. The winner will receive... bragging rights and a congratulatory post h...
