Wrapping up Christmas...

Wrapping up? Or un-wrapping? Either one, we had two more Christmas visits....First one was at our house with Laura, Bill, Connor, Mawna, Pap, and Aunt Sandy.

Please convince these people to find out if they are having a boy or girl. ;)

Aunt Sandy was given baby Hannah to feed - look at her juggling that cup and everything!

Connor opened some gifts....

Chloe and April opened some gifts....

Chloe had asked Santa for a baby doll stroller.  While opening her stocking the day before, she made a comment of "this isn't what I asked for"......Well, Mawna told Chloe that she had received a message from someone about a particular gift....She opened it....and, ran over to both my mom and dad with giant hugs of gratitude.  Santa and Mawna are friends ;)

We hung out for the rest of the day, had a spaghetti dinner, and then this happened.  It might have been the highlight of the day for April.  She came back in after walking Cinnamon and said, "I had a great time". :)

While Connor and April were jumping on the trampoline downstairs (which Chloe had already delcaired "not very princess-y") Chloe got to "do" science with Uncle Bill.  We mixed chemicals until we had a solution that made a clear glass ornament turn silver! :)

The next morning, we went to visit Mommom Ritter and exchange gifts.  The girls got new baby dolls!

The next day, Sunday, it rained while we were leaving for church.  So some girls got to use their umbrellas! :)

Camping Trips #2 and #3

At the beginning of August, we went on a camping trip with my immediate family. We had great campsites, right next to each other, and had fabulous weather. Chloe had a great time hanging out with her Aunt Laura, Uncle Bill, and Aunt Michelle: She also loved my dad's cell phone ringtone: Who says you can't eat great food while you're camping? Check out our dinner feast on Saturday night....Corn on the cob, cheeseburgers, grilled pineapple: Chloe had her first taste of the "beach" when we went to the lake one day. It was the first time she was in the sand, and I think she really liked it! When looking back at the camping pictures, I realized that Chloe wore a lot of hats on this trip: We got back from a Cousins Camping Trip on Sunday night. (Almost) All my cousins got together for the weekend and we had a great time. Another camping trip with good campsites and this time we just had okay weather. It rained Saturday night so everything was a bit soggy on Sunday ...

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
