Matt and Abbie are Married!

We attended the wedding of Kevin's cousin Matt last weekend - Kevin was a groomsman and we enjoyed the sites of D.C. as well!

Enjoy these photos :)

We dropped the girls off at Monnor and Pap's house (where they had a total blast) and headed to D.C.  We got there with a little time to drive around.

We were about 2 blocks away from the Capital!

In our sightseeing on Friday afternoon, we spotted the rehearsal dinner restaurant

saw a bunch of these :)

After meandering around town, we headed to the rehearsal.

The Future Mr & Mrs at the rehearsal

Mark requested that I take his picture,
so JungMin could remember what he looked like in this suit :)

Kevin, on the other hand, was paying no attention to me ;)

Our rehearsal dinner table - we got to sit with good friends of the couple and the pastor & his wife.

Saturday was the wedding day! The ceremony started at 2, and family got the prime seating :)

They are both looking right at me! :)

there were 3 steps. Both looking, as to not trip :)

The bride smiling at the groom!

and the groom smiling back!

First Kiss!!! (as in, ever.  First Kiss Ever.)

Kevin hung out with the wedding party for the rest of the afternoon, so I tagged along with his parents and JungMin.  Before heading to the reception, my father-in-law took a small tour around D.C. and we got pretty close to the Washington Monument.

We made it to the reception.....We ate and danced the night away :)  It was a fabulous time! :)

Our girls seemed to miss us when we got back....but, we heard their real feelings when it was time to leave Monnor and Pap's.  April was crying as her coat was put on, and Chloe said -- as we were leaving the driveway -- "I miss Pap and Monnor".....the driveway....as in, we could still see Pap in the kitchen window.  We were happy they were in such good hands while we were away!!

Camping Trips #2 and #3

At the beginning of August, we went on a camping trip with my immediate family. We had great campsites, right next to each other, and had fabulous weather. Chloe had a great time hanging out with her Aunt Laura, Uncle Bill, and Aunt Michelle: She also loved my dad's cell phone ringtone: Who says you can't eat great food while you're camping? Check out our dinner feast on Saturday night....Corn on the cob, cheeseburgers, grilled pineapple: Chloe had her first taste of the "beach" when we went to the lake one day. It was the first time she was in the sand, and I think she really liked it! When looking back at the camping pictures, I realized that Chloe wore a lot of hats on this trip: We got back from a Cousins Camping Trip on Sunday night. (Almost) All my cousins got together for the weekend and we had a great time. Another camping trip with good campsites and this time we just had okay weather. It rained Saturday night so everything was a bit soggy on Sunday ...

34 Weeks

34 weeks and my belly button has popped out :)  haha!  I'm still feeling a lot of movement and today my doctor said everything was great.  Here's some info on our "Baby Brother", as I refer to this little guy with Chloe and April: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds ( about the size of a cantaloupe ) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor , you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
