Pumpkin Patch 2012

You might remember from last year, we visited a Pumpkin Patch....and we went back this year!

April was a pumpkin head again this year :)  And we had just as much fun!  We had a sunny morning and by the end we were walking without coats on.

(Chloe tried to eat hers last year too! Pumpkins look delicious I guess!)

Chloe tried the slide that she was too afraid of last year.  April cried because I wouldn't let her.  I was scared that she'd fly off the side! Next year :)

There is a small farm at the end of the play area.  You can get a handful of corn to feed the goats, sheep, and cow.  There is a warning NOT to feed the pigs because they bite.

April waited to feed the cow!

Great way to start celebrating Fall!

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)

Thanksgiving Turkey

My brother-in-law raises turkeys, and we had one on Thanksgiving this year! It was a 31 pound turkey and took up a lot of space in my refrigerator for a few days before the holiday. I started the cooking process early so it was done by lunchtime.  Here is the turkey, barely fitting into my oven!  "the farmer and the chef" :)
