Good-bye....Hello....

Chloe said goodbye to her 'binkys' the day after her birthday. They are for babies!

and on the 18th she said hello to her potty chair :) She initiated the process, by going on her own while I was putting April down for her nap. So, I decided to see what happens for the next week. She's doing great so far - a few accidents, but more successes.....She spends a lot of time in this little blue & green chair:

and, her birthday gift from Uncle Paul is a wonderful activity to do while sitting.....
We'll see who gives up first - Mommy or Chloe ;)

Ok...time needs to seriously slow down. Chloe is on the potty, Grace is going to school, Natalie's ovaries are getting older by the minute. How is Chloe old enough to be potty training?? How?!

Spring has sprung?

This week has brought some strange weather! On Saturday, it was freezing while we watched Peter's baseball game - it was the "late night, under the lights" 8:00 pm game. and my toes were numb when the game was over. Then, Sunday was beautiful weather to watch soccer! April scored TWO goals in her game! We had a silent-auction at a church lunch on Sunday to raise money for the Youth Group Missions Trip. Peter bid on a cooler full of interesting flavored soda-pop....and he won! The first one he tried? Pickle Pop.  For a few years, our neighborhood has been the area of choice for a few mallard ducks to nest. The momma duck picked my neighbors' driveway this year...it seems like Spring must be coming if there are eggs!

Crazy May

As is typical with three active kids, we've had a busy last few weeks! Photos coming soon of the dance recital, Peter's birthday party, school activities and more :)  Here is our May started: No power for 5 days! A wind-storm went through our area and several power lines were knocked over. We did have school for 3 days. The weather was perfectly sunny and 70 degrees, so it wasn't too bad :)

Mexico 2025 ;)

After a year of not blogging, I'm making this post as an attempt to restart :)  We went on a family vacation back in February that was wonderful. It was a good time of year to travel and the picture above is from the first day. We got to the resort at lunchtime, threw on the swimsuits, and then had a dinner reservation at 6! So it was a jam-packed day but everyone was thrilled! We enjoyed time at the pool, the kids grew more confident in speaking Spanish and ordering drinks, and each night was a great dinner & ice cream at the little coffee shop :) Everyone has said they would go back :)  Maybe some day!
