New Camera

Our new camera came the other day in the mail! Our old one, the one we've had for five years, broke around Christmas time. We've been borrowing my cousin's camera since then and we've also been bugging her for camera advice and finally picked one.

We took more pictures last night than we did the day Chloe was born! :) It's an SLR camera so it can take pictures really fast - important with Miss-I-Never-Sit-Still Chloe :)

It's fun to use and takes some great pictures:
yes, this is a Merry Christmas bib....but it was laundry day :)

This is what happens when you ask Chloe to say "cheese" for the camera

pretty good grip on that crayon! :)

We've been busy this week with activities in the morning. I'm trying to switch Chloe over to one nap a day - sounds crazy, but up until this point she was still taking two 2-hour naps a day! Then, last week she started singing and talking during her afternoon nap instead of sleeping. So I thought maybe we'd try switching to just one....seems to be working okay so far!

My next post will be about Chloe at 18 months! Hard to believe she's a 1 1/2 year old! :)

Awww...great pics! That is awesome that Chloe was taking two 2-hour naps until now. I agree we need to arrange a visit sometime soon!

A dear friend

I'm leading the study tomorrow at my Bible Study. We're reading a book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan and the chapter I'm in 'charge of' of real life examples of people who are living completely for Christ. I've come up with an example from my own life to talk about and I thought I'd let my blog readers in on what I'm going to share tomorrow. Enjoy! I met Mrs. Hohman on a hot July afternoon after mistakenly knocking on her neighbor’s door. I stood on her front porch with my mom, nervously waiting to meet the woman I planned on living with for my first year at Grove City . I felt like I was towering over her short frame as she showed me the 3 rd floor and barked the rules of “no swearing, no smoking, no boys”. I handed over my rent check and moved to her house in late August. September came and a fellow freshman had a mental breakdown and her bed was now available to me…… So, after 3 weeks of living with Mrs. Hohman I moved out....

More Bloopers

These pictures just make me laugh ~ especially the last two. I have a feeling that Aunt Laura, in particular, will think those last two are funny also. :)
