Hair Cut

I should really call this post "Hair Trim"....because we didn't really do a whole cut....

Chloe was in need of a hair cut for a little while - look at this messy head of hair:

She hardly went a day without a clip in her hair, my effort to keep it from being in her eyes. Last night, we trimmed some bangs and the back.....check out dad's grip on her head (but it kept her still!)

and...she hated it:

even though this picture is blurry, it shows that she's come around to liking her new hair-do:
We think she looks pretty cute!

Home Decorating

Every so often, I get the urge to re-decorate our entire house. Since that's not really a possibility, I usually just end up changing some pictures or decorations. I was inspired by this post (the blog was found on the side-bar of my cousin's blog ), I thought I'd make a 3-D wall hanging of my own: I might keep it, I might give it as a gift....not sure yet - but I like it! Our downstairs bathroom was in need of a little "perk-up" so I made two coordinating frames to lighten things up: Now this isn't really home decorating....but I'm still including it :) Chloe recently acquired some fancy 4th of July hair clips from Aunt Michelle/Grandma B. She needed the perfect dress to match those clips, so I found some fabric and made one! Check back at the beginning of July for pictures of Chloe wearing this dress! :) My need for creating might have been calmed by these projects...or maybe it's only encouraging me to do more!

Baby Pool

Want to guess when Baby #2 is going to arrive? Post a comment, or send me an email, with your guess and I'll add you in! As a review, here are the rules to the game (taken from Heather Deterding!): 1. Post your guess for the baby's arrival in the "comment" section. Be sure to specify both date and time of day -- either "am" or "pm". 2. Limit one guess per person, and only one entry per time slot-- no sharing! 3. Winner is determined based on time of birth. For example, if the baby is born on April 20th at 7 AM, a guess of "April 20th, AM" would be the winner. In the event that there is no entry for the correct arrival time, the next closest guess based on actual time of birth would win. 4. We will post entries on the Calendar above. Check prior entries before placing your guess! Dates not displayed on the calendar above are still up for grabs. 5. The winner will receive... bragging rights and a congratulatory post h...
