18 years!

We celebrated 18 years of married life at the beginning of November. We got to spend a night in the city with our church friends, and then the two of us went to a Bed and Breakfast farther north for a second night. Then we picked up our kids and watched the Eagles win a close game! :)

Apple Butter Day

We had our 5th Annual Apple Butter Day earlier in the fall.  It was a full day of working and fun - started early with chopping apples and ended with canning the apple butter. Games and food were in between! :)

Recently!

How are we already to October 2nd?! The month of September was very full. Here are a few photos from the month: Chloe has run Cross Country this year. She has improved her time since the beginning & has lots of friends on the team. Over Labor Day Weekend, we visited with some friends at their hunting camp. Peter enjoyed the wildlife 😉 Chloe enjoyed the Fair we went to over that weekend! I got to escape the house for a long weekend with several girlfriends. It was a relaxing time away! Then, the next weekend we were back to the fields- baseball and soccer!   These are great days! Busy, lots of me taxiing from one place to the next, but it’s really not too much when the kids get such enjoyment (and exercise!).

First Day of School!

The kids have returned to school - 8th, 7th, and 4th grades are off to a good start! :) They all came back happy after the first day :)

August Fun

At the beginning of August, we joined up with my dad's side of the family in Poconos and spent the weekend visiting. We had almost perfect weather this year - so nice!! We had campfires, played outside, took a hike, and felt a nice breeze while sitting on the porch. Very good weekend :) When we got back, we visited our local Farm Show. We saw tons of animals, crafts, and at the end of the day watched the tractor pull. It was an exciting day for the kids, for sure.  Soon after, it was Chloe's birthday! Kevin's dad came for the weekend and Chloe picked to go to Phipps for her birthday.  We had family come on Sunday afternoon and had a nice time visiting. Chloe got to open many nice presents and blow out all 14 candles on her cake!
HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY to CHLOE!!  Chloe love Jesus, her family, enjoys being outside and dreams of being a teacher when she is older. She's a joyful leader of her cousins, and her classmates, and today we will celebrate by spending time together and eating all her favorite foods ;) She's growing up!

18th Annual

We went on our 18th Annual camping trip with the Deterdings last week. We had a fabulous time (as always) and are already looking forward to next year. We got to spend a lot of time on the lake and eating :) We had great weather!! The kids did their traditional fairy-garden making again this year.
