Merry Christmas

well, I don’t what happened! The months of November and December flew by! We’ve been busy with school and activities....here are some pictures to catch up- Kevin and I got all dressed up for his work's holiday party - which was held before Thanksgiving! :)  It was a fun night out Peter was very excited to see his favorite pups in the Macy's parade on Thanksgiving morning: All the cousins piled on "Uncle Kevy" for this picture :) At the beginning of December, April got glasses - she loves them! We got our tree (do you spy legos?) Chloe has joined Girl Scouts this fall and we got to come along for a trip to the Nutcracker when her troop had tickets. It was a fun girls' night out :) April danced at a local nursing home with her dance class as a Christmas outreach.  She loved performing for the residents. Kevin, Pap, and I saw Peter in his preschool's nativity play.  Peter's role was that of the "biggest brightest ...

13 years!

Celebrated 13 years together yesterday!

No Training Wheels!

In September, Peter learned to ride his bike with no training wheels!! He likes riding with his sisters.  The last photo I took was an "action shot" for sure, but I couldn't resist including it in the post! He's pretty serious about riding ;)

Deterding Camping Adventure #13

What a year #13 turned out to be -- mosquitoes galore, rain, muddy hike....but everything was made more enjoyable because we were with friends. The rain was only at night....so during the day there was lots of scooter-riding, fairy-house building, a hike on Saturday, and church on Sunday! Miss Heather brought a big tub of hot-chocolate mix....and it was quite popular!! We love seeing our kids have so much fun with the Deterding girls.....and we love catching up with their parents :)

Fall Soccer

How did all of September go by already? Wow!! The month of September brought the start of soccer, and the first week was rainy! April and Peter are both playing this fall. April didn't mind the rain and Peter got over his initial dislike. Daddy likes watching his kids play soccer! Other weeks have been cold, hot, and in-between. Both kids have enjoyed the season so far!

First Day of School

I'm having trouble getting the scavenger hunt pictures to cooperate, so I'm going to wait and move on to First Day of School! :) Third Grade and Second Grade! They were both excited.

Vacation

We took a trip before Chloe's birthday and got to see some dear friends. They have moved to New Jersey and we stayed overnight with them ~ and enjoyed their pool in between raindrops! All the kids enjoyed the unicorn pool float.... Did I get any pictures of our friends? Us? Of course not! The second part of our trip was a family reunion in the Poconos, and Peter rested up on the drive there. It was very rainy the first afternoon and evening and night.....but we stayed dry and had good weather for most of the weekend.  Of course, one highlight for the kids was the tractor ride! The third part of our trip was to see Kevin's side of the family....and Peter rested up on the way there :) After seeing Grandma's new place, we headed back to Grandpa's house for dinner and birthday celebrations One happy girl with her gifts from Uncle Mark and Aunt JungMin! On Monday (part 4?) we went to the beach! It was a wonderful, relaxing day! ...
